Afsaruzzaman Noor (Known as Jyoti to the HoV friends) has been a dedicated volunteer to the organization. He was the first president for HoV-BUET, the first registered university chapter of HoV in Bangladesh and later served as the Executive Director of HoV-BD. He was a very active team member in several OSCEP (Open Source Computer Education Program) projects. Jyoti believes that volunteerism is like a duty to our society and we all should render our service whenever we are provided with this wonderful opportunity.

Currently he’s pursuing Masters in Supply Chain Management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where the journey of HoV started. He holds an MBA from IBA, DU and B.Sc. in Industrial and Production Engineering from BUET. He has several years of work experience in Bangladesh’s leading local business houses so far and wishes to go back to his country soon to harness the experience from staying abroad. In free times, he loves travelling, reading, biking or any outdoor activities.
