World Water Day Observance Program 2025

Since 1993, 22nd March has been celebrated as World Water Day. On this day, various programs are organized worldwide to highlight the importance and impact of water. Each year a unique theme is selected for this day focusing on solving different water related issues. World Water Day 2025 will focus on the theme of “Protecting Rivers: The Lifeblood of Bangladesh ”. Youth has an important role to play in working towards safe water and increased water awareness. To amplify the voice of Bangladeshi youths on water issues, the House of Volunteers Foundation (HOV) is organizing a month-long program. The program includes –

-Competitions on Painting,

-Photography and social awareness Program.

-Exhibitions of top paintings and photography.

-Day-long awareness campaign on 22nd March, 2025

-Quiz competition

Competitions details:

Painting Competition

Theme- Save our Rivers : Build a Clean & Green Future.

Eligibility: 8 to 16 years old are eligible for the contest.

Submission Deadline: 15th February 2025

Awards- Handsome prize money for winners.

All winners and top 10 participants selected for the exhibition will receive certificates.

2. Photography Competition

Theme- “Life by the Water: Safe Water Saves Life.”

Eligibility: 15 to 30 years old are eligible for the contest.

Awards- Top 3 participants will get handsome prize money.
